Our Process
- Take Inventory: The first step after water, fire, smoke or mold damage is to evaluate the situation. Our primary goal in this step is to inventory all damaged items that need to be cleaned and deodorized. We will also consider items that cannot be salvaged. As much as we try to restore all the contents that we can, some simply are unsalvageable. In those cases, we will document the item and send the final list to you and your insurance company in order to assist during the claims process.
However, if a content CAN be restored, then Rainbow International has the training to give it new life. Our content cleaning technicians are properly trained to number and record every single piece so that all of your belongings are accounted for during the cleaning process.
As our technicians take inventory, they will document each item with photos and assign that item with a traceable number. This helps keep your items organized when they reach our facility for cleaning.
- Remove Contents: Once all items have been checked and inventoried, our technicians will pack up each item carefully and take them off site to our contents cleaning warehouse. There, each individual item will be carefully handled, cleaned and deodorized; removing evidence of the recent loss.
- Clean & Deodorize Contents: Each affected item will be handled with care. Before the cleaning process begins, the material type, construction, and fragility will all be evaluated to ensure contents are handled appropriately.
Using tools such as Ozone machines, ultrasonic cleaning equipment and more, we are able to find the right equipment to gently restore your items. We use equipment and tools that eliminate hand-washing, and cut down on cleaning times by up to 75%. Not only will your contents be gently handled, but you will get them back within a shorter period of time.
- Replace Contents: Once the contents cleaning and deodorizing process is complete, our technicians will cross reference the inventory list with the cleaned items. Once all items are accounted for, we will gently pack your items and return them to your home.
